“`Duties“`
– Assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
– Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and equipment
– Provide emotional support to patients and their families
– Observe and report any changes in patients’ condition to the nursing staff
– Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
– Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse
– Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
“`Experience“`
– Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant or similar role preferred
– Familiarity with electronic medical records systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks
– Experience in acute care settings, including knowledge of suture removal and wound care
– Knowledge of behavioral health practices and techniques
– Experience in hospice care and end-of-life support
– Familiarity with tube feeding procedures and protocols
– Experience working with children in a healthcare setting is a plus
– Knowledge of durable medical equipment (DME) and its proper use
